There was a lot of negative stereotypes about both vegan food and psychologists in the book which I found unnecessary and cliche (I’m neither a psychologist or a vegan by the way) with the usual references to ‘rabbit food’ and being constantly ‘psychoanalysed’ being boring, predictable and unnecessary, without any meaningful addition to the story. The depiction of Steph’s parents as patronising, vegan psychologists was a bit lame as well.
